Fuel waste. Majority of the artificial flowers sold in the world come from other countries - the main manufacturers and suppliers are in China. Imagine the amount of fuel being used to ship the flowers in and the costs in transit and at flowers shops to keep them in storage.

Water pollution. The production of artificial/plastic flowers require a huge amount of water for colour dye and drainage which seriously pollutes our water resources.

Marine life harm. We know plastics items can take up to 1000 years to decompose. Artificial flowers may take anywhere from 10 years and above to decompose.
